my characters’ experiences as adults grappling with everyday struggles. This

as well as frequent and fully described sexual acts.

These characters have frank discussions regarding abusive relationships, a
narcissistic mother, abortion, the death of a parent due to cancer,
nonconsensual drug use (roofying), nonconsensual condom removal during
intercourse (stealthing), and racism.

Other content warnings include alcohol and cannabis consumption,
attempted sexual assault, violence, internalized body shaming, mentions of
blood and menstruation, police brutality, and slut shaming.

This story is told in first person narration, alternating between perspectives of the main characters. Stormbound is the first novel in the Pine Bluff series which will contain novels about wild women and the mountain men who love them. These will be standalone novels that are interwoven for a fuller experience.
